He earned a PhD in American literature with an emphasis in poetry and has taught at numerous colleges and universities.     Juliana Eigner was born in São Paulo and currently lives in Ubatuba, a small coastal town in Brazil. Since graduating with a degree in design, Juliana has experimented with many different types of art, including jewelry, ceramics, porcelain, collage, and painting. In 2006, she became enchanted by surface patterns and their countless applications. Over the years, she has expanded her research to illustration. Juliana is in love with and inspired by nature. When she had her daughter, her work naturally started to reflect childhood, through elements of color and emotion. Nowadays, Juliana usually develops authorial work in both digital and manual art, ranging from clothes or chocolates to books or walls.
