This is put away for a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, so all I can say is that it looks like a beautiful book, but I didn't read it before I put it away.
The title is misleading. These are NOT poems for children
These poems are not for children. Very disappointing
I am very disappointed. The poems in this book will NOT appeal to chikdren. I will be donating my copies. Perhaps an adult poetry liver will enjoy them.
Love the selection chosen, but more editing was needed. In at least one poem there were lines missing (clearly accidental, not abridged) and those stanzas are left meaningless.
I love the beautiful cover of this book as well as the nice thick pages and poem selection, however I was disappointed to find that one of my favorite poems was printed incorrectly. The House of Christmas is missing a word in one stanza and an entire line of another. The page numbers in the table of contents are also all incorrect. I will still enjoy this book but was disappointed to find these errors.
I got this for compliment our morning basket routine! We always do a poem and now we can do a Christmas poem for the duration of December.
I love this book of poems! It’s perfect for a night time read. I have my children close their eyes and picture the poem in their heads and then I have them share it with me. It’s a great way to end the day.
