Who is this course for?
Everyone is welcome! However, we expect the course will be most helpful to:

- Children's illustrators wanting to write books of their own
What types of books does this course focus on?
Our instruction will focus on board books, picture books, and illustrated nonfiction books. Chapter books and middle grade books will be covered in a future course.
How much does this course cost?
The total cost for all three days is $495. We charge $100 upfront to reserve your spot and the remaining $395 two weeks before the course runs.
Is this in-person or virtual?
We run the entire course virtually. This lessens the burden of travel and having to take time off work for our class members.
What does the course not cover?
Our course is laser-focused on helping you get acquired by a traditional publishing house. We leave other wonderful topics, like choosing between traditional and self publishing, illustration, AI, work-life balance, the creative life, and so forth, to other worthy conferences.
Do you really guarantee a publishing contract to one of the participants?
We do indeed! We know from experience that at least one of the books from one of the participants in the course will be so good, we'll want to contract it on the spot. We've even been known to acquire more than one!
