Submissions

For authors, we currently only accept agented submissions. Illustrators, however, do not need representation. Please use our submission tool below, and we'll be in touch in several weeks.

Publisher's Tip:
We're especially interested in children's nonfiction (history, art, STEM, biography and heroes, nature, music, how things work), faith-based books (all faiths are welcome), and middle-grade fiction (adventure, fantasy, historical fiction).

What goes into a Bushel & Peck Original?

Our original books can take over a year to create! Hours of work by talented, industry-leading authors, illustrators, editors, and designers go into every book. Each detail is carefully crafted, from the foil embellishments on the cover to the designer endpapers on the inside. It's a labor of love for our family-run business, but that's what you'll feel when you first open each extraordinary cover:
