22 Stories to Teach Children Joy from Honesty, Service, Goals, Sharing, Caring for the Earth, Uniqueness, and More!

There is fun, there is even happiness, but then there is JOY! In Joy School, New York Times #1 bestselling parenting authors Richard and Linda Eyre teach the very best kind of character-building, freewheeling joy to kids with twenty-two colorfully illustrated stories. Each story in the anthology teaches one of ten essential values that are critical for healthy, happy children: Joy of the Body, Joy of the Earth, Joy of Honesty and Communication, Joy of Sharing and Service, Joy of Goals and Order, Joy of Confidence, Joy of Wonder, Joy of Imagination and Creativity, Joy of Family, and the Joy of Uniqueness.

They have appeared on Oprah, Today, and nearly every other major media show. They spend most of their time traveling and speaking to audiences throughout the world on families, parenting, and life-balance (and trying to keep up with their twenty-six grandchildren). The Eyres's vision statement is "Fortify families by celebrating commitment, popularizing parenting, bolstering balance, and validating values."

Olga Zakharova

Olga Zakharova (a.k.a., FaveteArt) is a self-taught illustrator and letterer with two bachelor’s degrees that have nothing to do with art. Olga was born in Moscow, Russia, but moved to Latvia to find some peace and quiet. She now lives in an eco-village in the forest with her husband. Surrounded by nature on a daily basis, she finds inspiration in organic shapes and the perfect imperfections of the world. Her style is a mix of playful forms and cute characters drawn by hand and then digitized. When she is not working on illustrations, she can be found sleeping or being a doorwoman for her cats.
